Aren't Bush's tax cuts coming up for discussion? Somebody voted on them
before they were official. Or did they come out of a box of cereal?

That shifted taxes and it was temporary.... funny that you compared it
to a box of cereal, that is an apt analogy, they lowered the price for a
few years and raised the price of the other types of cereal under that
brand(Federal). Meanwhile they made up the the lost income and now the
price will go back to it's original amount and the other cereal is still
at a higher cost.... raise One, then raise the other, then back to
raise the one and then back to the other?

It was a shell game and taxes were shifted and not reduced.

You said that wrong. It's raise one, cut the other, then leave the raised
one raised and raise the cut one. Of course, we are talking about
Washington, and there's no reason they won't raise both and say it's a cut
because they wanted to raise them more but didn't.

Maybe you said the same thing ...

A participant in this discussion made the claim that it was.
