That Tiger had a early seventies 260 CID Ford Falcon V8. ;) "tww1491" <twaugh5(a)cox.net> wrote in message news:C7_gn.49610$qJ.15170(a)newsfe10.iad... > > > "Mike Hunter" <Mikehunt2(a)lycos,com> wrote in message > news:4b846315$1$525$ce5e7886(a)news-radius.ptd.net... >> Can I assume you never owned a Toyepet in the late fifties? ;) > I sure remember those when I was Japan in the mid 60s. May-be you're thinking about some American factory that is turning out Bosch supplies, over there with locally sourced rubbish parts. -- Clive.

Well since the most recent vehicle I've had, both GM and Toyota are 95's, I'd say that that is a valid comparison point. I'm not impressed with really anybody's newer vehicles. It will be a while before I can afford them anyway. In 1999 when I sold my 1995 S-10, it already had more rust on it at 50,000 miles than my current 1995 Corolla does now at 140,000. I remembered why I put you on the list. If it weren't for you, there probably wouldn't be a Ford Motor Company. Charles Grozny
