I certainly think that politicians should *at least* be able to remember their own political stance well enough to spout it without crib notes on their palms. As for teleprompters; they don't bother me as they are used (mostly) for prepared speeches, not necessarily written by the speaker but *hopefully* espousing the speaker's agenda and as such the teleprompters allow the speaker to ramp up various parts of the speech for emphasis. |
