With all of the complaints about JD Powers surveys in a Toyota NG, one would
suspect that Toyota is not doing as well as some others in those reports.
Is that the case?

Toyota makes good vehicle but what makes you believe that only Toyotas can
be run up high miles? There are plenty of other brands that do likewise.
If one does the proper preventive maintenance any vehicle will last for
300,000 miles or more. I saw thousands of them run to 300,000 or more in
less than five years, when I owned my fleet service business.

If you look at the Cash for Clunker statistics you will see the most traded
vehicle was the mid eighties Ford Explorer with and average of 300,000 miles
to 500,000 miles on the clock

I think you either just don't know how to drive, or were trying to drive a
Tercel like a Supra.

Either way, you ruined a perfectly good transmission in a perfectly good
car all by yourself.

Believe what you want. It's your delusion.

it would be easier for Toyota to post a list of the vehicles NOT being
recalled.
