the only "fantasy" here is you having an opinion on a subject about
which you are clearly underinformed. "ductile iron" [in its multitude
of grades and qualities] is a cheap commodity produced in the millions
of tons each year. spending up to 30% of a component's value in
shipping makes no sense whatsoever.

almost certainly this is not a "ductile iron" component, but that
doesn't detract from you bullshitting about it.

By buying back their trucks with rusted frames for 150% of Kelley Blue
Book value, which is geared for DEALER PROFIT?

I'd like that kind of a screwing!!!

That would mean I would get $2,000 more for the Scion than I PAID for it 4
years ago!!!!

Why, is your Scion rusting already as well?

You will notice Toyota is using Kelly rather than NADA? Kelly values are
set by the average trading prices within the wholesale USED car industry,
not the average trading / selling prices when used at NEW CAR dealerships,
as in NADA.

In any event they book value they are referencing is WHOLESALE, not retail

Nope. It gets oiled every year, and never driven when there's salt on the
road.

Why do ya think I have all these beaters?
