I had a '66, three on the...er...yeah. It's problems were more than my technical capabilities at the time. However, if I had it now, I would have one cool Corvair. (I live about 10 miles from the place in Mass that remanufactures Corvair parts...)

Seemed like there was a lag in steering response at that speed, too. Never did find out what caused it. Not sure anyone else had the same problem, but it was very disconcerting. Ed Maier |
