Can't afford Chevy Volt's $20,000 markup? Just buy a Lexus, it's cheaper.
Because the $5,000 markup for the Prius was just pocket change: http://www.hybridcarblog.com/20000-dealer-markups-on-the-chevy-volt/ ... 11 Aug 2010 11:30
$20,000 over sticker for Chevy Volt is simply supply and demand
"So you think the Chevrolet Volt electric car will cost too much? Tell that to the Chevy dealer who has already decided to charge $20,000 over the sticker price. That's right. Months before the first Volt lands on a showroom floor, there's enough excitement that the dealer -- who earns a living calculating what ... 13 Aug 2010 21:16
POOR AM/FM Reception: WHY?
Apparently quite a few 2010 Prius owners get very bad AM/FM reception. Anyone had this problem? What is the fix? I suspect that the antenna is not properly connected or that if there is an antenna amp, it is defective. Ideas, anyone? My dealer switched radios in my car, and it did nothing to help. ... 10 Aug 2010 15:52
I was awarded a contract with Ford! Toyota wasn't interested!
For those who know what I do for a living (I am a producer of DiseasePorn, a niche genre of the film industry where our actors have all sorts of unattractive diseases and miscellaneous afflictions). Well last week, Ford contacted me about including some complementary DVDs that will play in the Nav system of the... 3 Aug 2010 22:28
Toyota gambles with Fire Sale Prices over piling inventory!!!
Looks like inventory is piling up, and a good way of doing a fire sale is Low Lease Rates to riskier customers (sub-prime?) instead of Cash Incentives. "For Toyota, the deal could be a financial disaster. To keep customers coming to its showrooms amid a series of embarrassing recalls, Toyota has been offering so... 6 Aug 2010 18:14

john's genitals subpoenaed by Judge Judy
john kept explaining that the genitals really were there, somewhere, between his legs even though they were not visible, yet the court was convinced they were hiding out in Mexico, for purpose of avoiding charges over the mischief they caused with a 9 year old boyscout. ... 22 Jul 2010 20:17
Toyota subpoenaed by federal grand jury, can determine criminal charges
"Toyota said it was the company's second subpoena from a federal grand jury — a panel that can determine whether evidence exists to bring criminal charges. Defective steering relay rods led Toyota to recall 4Runner sports utility vehicles and T100 pickup trucks in the United States in 2005. Full article: http... 22 Jul 2010 02:45

Ford cars being recalled for combustible materials
Ford has hatched a plan to combat terrorism. Resume production on the Pinto, and give them away free to members of the Taliban. A gentle nudge in the rear from any compact car at 20mph or more will detonate the gas tank, relieving the world of one or more terrorists (and perhaps a few innocent civilians) in the... 18 Jul 2010 19:14

German auto makers admit poor reliability
Today my doctor introduced some new meds into my daily regimen. He jokingly refers to it as chemical labotomy treatment.
