Semantics. Big deal. Fact is, you are wrong, just got too bloated a head
to admit it.

The only thing you have proved is that I should have said "ARPANet" where
I said "DARPANet". Big deal. The company I was working for was one of the
first ones on the wire, no matter what it was called.

And we were teamed with DARPA. Since you've Googled it, I'm sure by now
you know what it means. We were a high-tech aerospace/aeronautics company
with highly visible projects (LEM mean anything to you?). At the time I
was there we were working on the new modular EMU (er, "spacesuit") and
turbine propulsion controls. So we had access to *whatever* net was
available, regardless of the name.

The only other misstep was where I said "Usenet was a DARPA project."
It was ARPANet at the time. That's all you managed to prove, is that I
messed up some terminology from where I was at the time.

IOW, Big Deal.
