Jonah Goldberg. He used the title to sell his books, and get idiots
like you to call attention to it, as if he were making any case at
all about liberals being fascists in his book. He's almost as smart
and every bit as honest and reliable as the now-humiliated
Breidbart.

There's such a disconnect in the minds of those on the far right who
are one minute whining about how their "freedoms" are being taken
away, and the next minute laying down or bending over for things
like the patriot act and the unconstitutional Arizona law. The right
seems oblivious to the fact that the religious among them would
prefer a theocracy over a democracy. Talk about losing freedom!
Legislate according to the Christian bible? What about the
Constitution, eh?

Look up fascism in a good history book, for crying out loud. Look up
Weimer moment. Fascism springs from authoritarianism and thus is not
likely to come from your left. As Sinclair Lewis once famously said,
"When fascism comes to America, it will be wrapped in a flag and
carrying a cross." You betcha.
