87 22r no power
Can some of you folks tell me different ideas on why my recently purchased 87 toyota 22r engine has very little power. I have a very reliable oil change history in the glove box that agrees with the 80,000 odometer-- this should be a nice running truck.. I bought it as a lite roll and want to use it as a farm truc... 5 Dec 2007 16:30
Interesting 4WD behavior, 92 PU
To all, I have a '92 extra cab 4WD pickup with the V6 and automatic hubs. I had new BF Goodrich tires put on it about a month ago. I forget the tire name but I think they are the mud/terrain TA tires. Anyway, the tread is pretty aggressive but the tires are quiet on the highway. A couple days ago it seemed like th... 19 Oct 2007 23:02

Sometimes the light goes on, sometimes the light goes off on the wheels without the sensors. I'd like to take out the warning light bulb. How do I do that? Any othe... 19 Oct 2007 07:38
driveshaft play and vibration
I 've recently noticed a vibration in my 91 v6 4x4 that seems to happen around 60 to 80 km/hr. My left front tire is clearly wearing more on the inside and I have about 1/4 turn of play when I grab my rear driveshaft while the truck is in gear. There's also a miniscule amount of play in the U joint/ Spider jo... 28 Sep 2007 03:16
what service really needed?
I'm a guy who often feels ripped off at garages- so I have to be sure work is really needed. I have a '04 Tacoma. I've been doing oil changes regularly, though a big late. I'm now just over 60,000 miles and got from Toyota a list of work to do including, "4-wheel alignment/balance & rotate tires", "timing b... 29 Sep 2007 07:54
Coaster Brakes - dragging / sticking after rain / wet roads
We may have a problem with the brakes on a 2006 Toyota Coaster bus (6 cyl diesel) that someone here may be able to advise on. Hopefully I'm not too far OT. The driver says the brakes drag or lock on a little after being driven in the rain and then being parked overnight. After using the brakes half a dozen t... 13 Sep 2007 14:03
