4runner: clunk! when tight left turn...and misc ?s
Here is the solution...I had my "clunk" fixed on Monday, July 9th. My 98 4Runner SR5 Auto had a clunking sound coming from underneath "somewhere" whenever I made a left turn...OK when going straight ahead or a right turn. 22R carb float gas level drops overnight?
On my 1984 Toyota pickup, 22R engine, the float gas level is right where it should be (middle of sight glass) when it's running and right after shutting the engine off. tire dry rot
Is it possible that tire dressing causes dry rot? I have 4 year old b.f goodrich 265/70r16 with 54000 miles that show cracking and the local tire dealer says it's caused by tire dressing.
