Iridium spark plugs for Tacoma I've tried various types of plugs over the years in different engines with less than satisfactory results. So I wasn't exactly optimistic about trying the NGK Iridium plugs in my stock aspirated V-6 2004 Tacoma with OEM NGK plugs, but I tried them anyway. VSC TRAC/ VSC OFF & Check Engine Light on 2001 4Runner I guess this is the month for the check engine light in our Toyotas. Today, in my 2001 4Runner, the Check Engine Light, the VSC Off and the VSC Trac lights all came on at the same time. The OBD Code is P1135, which apparently is "A/F ratio sensor". Oil change 2009 tacoma I`m getting ready to do the first oil change on my 2009 tacoma. Is there anything special to know about this or is it just routine? Failed Smog 86 22R PU I recently had to get a SMOG test for my 86' 22R PU. It barely failed CO, by 0.08, from the maximum allowed. Everything else was within normal limits if not below.
