99 Sienna 12V power aux outlets dead
Have 1999 Toyota Sienna -- the two 12 volt auxiliary outlets are dead (even though the actual cigarette lighter works, the other two outlets do not). I checked the 3 fuses in the box under the hood (5a, 10a, 10a) and they are good. Where is the fuse for these two outlets? Thanks, Pat ... 24 Dec 2009 17:22

Toyota's reputation needs some TLC
"Over a generation or so, Toyota built its reputation - and U.S. market share - on dependability, at a time when General Motors, Ford Motor and Chrysler couldn't shake being identified with lemons. The company that once could do no wrong has stumbled badly though a series of embarrassments of disclosures, allegat... 29 Dec 2009 19:47

Toyota stalling may be linked to on-board computers, electronic control module
The problem is that Toyota (and others) are using what is termed, fly by wire. In fly by wire, the gas pedal is not mechanically connected to the throttle body. The gas pedal has a servo that tells the computer what the angle is, and the computer then sets the throttle body with a stepper motor to match the ... 7 Dec 2009 20:46
Automatic tranny in a '85 Pickup
Hi all, Bought my grandpa's '85 Toy pickup as I needed a vehicle quickly. 309,000 miles on it and the tranny leaks. Couldn't find where it was leaking, but an EZ Lube tech said it was leaking bad via the output shaft and wouldn't do a transmission flush. The info I need is, I suppose, a part number? Is it a... 10 Dec 2009 01:29
