Duh! The content part of the contract refers parts and materials that must
equal 70% American. Using American steel alone, rather then steel imported
from Japan like is in most other Jap cars assembled in the US, adds a great
deal to the content requirement.

You are referring the NA parts content that is meaningless, even Camrys made
in Japan carry a label that says it has NA parts. LOL

Then why is NUMMI breaking the contract, making cars with 61% and 65%
American content?

Yet, I am talking about the models made only in the NUMMI plant.

Again, you fail to demonstrate that that contract exists.

Where do you get the idea they have 61% and 65% "American" content?

Need I say it again, do your own homework to find the information you seek

From the link from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
The one I posted. They are the people who are supposed to follow the
domestic content of cars.

> Need I say it again, do your own homework to find the information you seek

I did. And, instead of claiming some commerce department website that
doesn't exist, I posted the website.

Get real North American content INCLUDES Canada, and the parts that are
assembled from IMPORTED component parts and IMPORTED materials, dummy
