Kind of like when he told Cathy to drive off a bridge.

He's a piece of work.

I guess what the DimWit missed was where I said I slowed down because I
was coming up on an 18 wheeler and a blind hill. I was in the passing lane
of a 4 lane highway, the truck (when I started) was about two miles in
front of me (I could see him) and the next car behind me was about 1/4
mile behind. I was on a stretch of road where I could see from where I was
to the blind hill, about 2.5 miles in the distance.

There weren't even any cars in the northbound lane, even.

But, we all know Joe misses little details like that.

I've said all along he has no cprehension of what he reads. I should make
it into a nice little story, like he's used to from Rolling Stone.

Of course, he'll still draw the wrong conclusion...

Back when I was sitting in the Used Car Sales office, and had not much to
do between customers, I came up with a spreadsheet that would calculate
the speedo error based on the size tire, and give you the actual MPH based
on tire size. I did it by coming up with the circumference of the tire,
and then formulating that into 5,280 feet per mile. It was pretty slick I
posted it here about 5-6 years ago.

I posted earlier that I believe Honda was sued some years back because of
speedometer errors, and that the odometer was reporting lower miles than
the car actually had, e.g. for a Civic showing 100,000 miles, it actually
had about 112,000 or so.

Or vice versa. I can't remember right now.
