LOL! Amazing how many people don't realize that!

My Supra came from Downtown Toyota in Toronto, so I have a KM/H to MPH
converter in front of me!

I had someone get in the car and look at the dash and say, "WOW! A 240 MPH
speedometer!"

Only in an 80km/h zone; on a freeway with a 100 km/h limit, one would
have to go 150 (93 mi/h) for those overly harsh consequences to kick
in.

I have to wonder how often it really happens in practice, though. I
suspect that there were a lot of +49 km/h tickets written after that
took effect. I also wonder how they deal with US drivers caught for >
+50.

BTW, we definitely do NOT need those kind of penalties here in the
US!!

There was absolutely NO ONE on the road between me and the truck.

Don't read well, do you?
