Ford and GM have a long history of aggressively fighting the government
when the government tells them that a safety related recall is
necessary. This needlessly endangers vehicle owners.

Would you rather own a product from a company that when it learns about
a problem immediately takes steps to rectify it, or a product from a
company that when it learns about a problem immediately takes steps to
deny it?

They kept selling defective cars until the us gov. shut them down, this
isn't the first time, they have been keeping
defects secret from the press for years. or as most Toyota owners say, my
company can do no wrong only American companies are F.....ed up.

I guess we can assume you are not aware of the fact Toyotas with fly by wire
systems also have the same problem, according to published reports, hence
the stop sell order from Toyota

In the first place imported Camrys are included. However if you are a
subscriber to A.N, then you can look at the list published therein.
