The common denominator is that all of the vehicles involved in the second
accelerator recall is that they were produced in North America. The Lexus
ES, which shares its platform with the Camry and Highlander, is produced in
Japan and not involved in this round. Toyota started producing the Rav 4 in
November, 2008, which is why the 2007 Rav 4 isn't involved. Toyota is
focusing on pedal assemblies supplied by CTS in Canada.
