My wife drives a 2008 Avalon, and I got in the mail a brown envelope
with the Toyota logo and name in the return address area, and the words,
"TOYOTA SAFETY" across the front. I figured it was the recall notice and
opened it. It wasn't from Toyota. It was from North Texas Nissan
offering to accept the Avalon as a trade in on a (you guessed it) new
Nissan. Talk about kicking them while they're down, Nissan dealers have
reached a new low in marketing.

If you were drowning would you refuse the offer of a life ring?

Of course not. But then again, I'm not exactly drowning, am I?

Judging from som eof their cars in the 90's, they should be the LAST ones
knocking someone else's product!
