If the Republicans had acted responsibly we probably would have gotten a
better bill. Instead they tried to play politics and we got a second rate
bill. I'll get my chance to vote against one Republican Senator (Burr) who
put dirty politics ahead of the best interest of his constituents this fall.
He may keep his job, but it won't be with my help.

I was mealy pointing out that AARP is primary in the insurance business.
As to the VALUE of what it sells, gap insurance for those on Medicare is the
most expensive type to purchase. The scare folks by telling them they do
need and referrals and can see any doctor.

Advantage Plans PPO offers a much better value for seniors and cost at 2/3
less per month and one does need referrals and they can see any doctor.

When you say grin and bear it do you mean if one does not already have
insurance they should gladly buy it from the same folks that BO and the Dims
have been saying are the CAUSE of all our healthcare problems, the insurance
companies. Does grin and bear it mean we that already have insurance
should be happy to pay the same people MORE for the coverage we CURRENTLY
have. That what the new law is makings do, so grin and bear it. LOL

The NEW taxes are going to be used to offset the "deficit neutral" health
care bill. They are written in as part of the law. So are the fines if you
do not have health care.

They did the same thing as in Mass. You WILL buy healtcare, period.

They had nothing at all to do with it, they all voted against it.

This was a battle between the "moderate" dems and the progressives (
Communists with a nicer name ).

You'll be the minority. 2/3 of the American people were against socialist
medicine and they passed it anyway. It will be a bloodbath for the dems
this fall, they will LOSE big time.
