It might be convenient but would be naive to think of it nicely apportioned for this and that. Last I heard, US infrastructure sux, it's million $/solder/per year. Quadruple that for incidentals + 1/2 again for the contractors we apparently need to do the job. You do the math.

From: Mike Hunter on 27 Mar 2010 17:06 AARP is basically in the Insurance business and the high profit Medicare gap plans. Now people will be REQUIRED to buy health insurance or be taxed an additional percentage of their gross income. The kicker is you must buy it from those same insurance companies that BO and the Dims in Congress were telling you where the ones causing of all the healthcare problems If you don't pay the tax you can be jailed. Is that the change YOU voted for? ;) "Jane Galt" <Jane_G(a)gulch.xyz> wrote in message news:Xns9D47CDA33C4ADJaneGgulchxyz(a)216.196.97.142... > SMS <scharf.steven(a)geemail.com> wrote : > >> The AARP supported the health care bill because it was a net positive >> for seniors, even though Medicare Advantage is going to be cut >> eventually. > > No, actually because the head of AARP was a big time Obama supporter. >
