He won't believe you but the parallels are frightening. Rather than the jews and "lesser races" the right are using "progressives" and "socialists" as their touchstones. The "big lies" the complete disassociation from reality. The fear mongering and the ramping up of violent rhetoric. Blaming the victims. The claims of victimhood to justify their violence. Anyone with a grasp of 20th century history can see that. People like him feel safe as longas you do not challenge them with actual provable facts.
