indeed. he has a great point though - if toyota's engineers were that
dumb. but having dissected some of their work, i see no evidence of
anything other than a rigorous and highly conservative execution of best
practices.

What that woman claimed is impossible. She is either a liar or
delusional. The congress people who allowed her to testify are the
ones who should be ashamed. She may believe her story, but any
rational person who understands even a little engineering knows that
the events as related by her cannot be true.
