Ya know, I was thinking about this. Toyota came out with the Scion xB,
which a lot of people say they DON'T like, but then why did Nissan and Kia
rush their copies to the market?

Perhaps US sales are bad, but the rest of the world must be buying...

The Scion only sold well the first two years, sales have been declining
rapidly ever since. The strange part is the average age of Toyota buyers
keep moving up. The Scion was designed to be popular with young buyers who
would move up to other Toyota models. The average age of Toyota buyers is
approaching 50 and they have more women buyers than men. In reality the
average age of Scion buyers is even OLDER, curious.

The tC was selling well with the younger crowd; I'm one of the only old
men (sigh...52) I see driving one.

The xB was aimed at the younger crowd, but only people over 40 are seen
driving them.
