91 Camry wagon license plate light

My VIN is: 4T1SV24E3MU414380 What I can't resolve is whether the engine is a 2VZ-FE engine (1990 - 1991) 4cyl or a 3S-FE engine (1990 - 1991) 4cyl The engine jumped time and I'm changing the belt. That's the Toyota Type-IV, or Mobil-3309 ATF. Should be correct. In a typical transmission I'd first suspect the torque converter lock up clutch. But the U140 seriers has design defects.
