If you've removed a bunch of fasteners, you've likely disturbed the lamp's
alignment.

These bulbs are replaced by removing them from the rear of the reflector
housing. The lamp body (lens/reflector) itself NEVER removed from the car.

There is an electrical connector and a locking ring. Once those are
removed, the bulb just slides out.

Sometimes things like power steering reservoirs have to be unclipped and
temporarily pushed out of the way to gain access.

Do you have an Owner's Manual anymore? The manual will describe bulb
replacement. If you don't have the manual anymore, I might be able to dig
something up.

4 plastic fastners held the grill in place because it looks like in
order to remove the housing, or slide it to the side, the grill is in
the way. There was only 2 philips screws I removed from these brackets
that held it to the frame, so I guess maybe the alignment could be out
but doesn't look like it.

Yes, the low & high beams are very easy.......When I look at the parking
light it appears there is no way to gain access from the rear when its
in place, why I assumed it needs to come out.

Does that apply to the parking light as well? I can't seem to see any
*easy* access from the back though. The replacement bulb is that, it
looks like a smaller version of a house light bulb.

Its the drivers side parking light in the front, there seems to be
nothing in the way except maybe the battery bracket arm thingy holding
it in place on top.

I'll have to look..........I've read somewhere that all I have to do is
get the whole unit out at an angle and I should be able to access it so
I assume its a *rear* access and don't have to remove the lens for a
front replacement? I was afraid to *push* out from the back because I'm
not sure where else its connected.

Thanks for your help.

Just checked the manual, nothing in there about changing the *parking*
light bulb, says to contact toyota dealer.

After taking a look at a photo of the headlight assembly, my guess is that
if you look down behind the assembly, you should see the wiring harnesses
for the low beam, high beam, and driving/turn signal light. Try turning the
bulb holder /4 turn to release the bulb holder.

That's the thing though there seems to be no access to this particular
bulb in the back, the parking light. I'll take a look again, these
lights wrap around to the side frame of the car & it seems the access to
the parking bulb is buried in there.

Thanks RayO, I'll take a look again.
