At least. A modern coil is about 25,000 volts.
Good test for bad spark plug wires: open the hood in a very dark area or
at night with no lights on. See any blue sparks? Now, to verify the bad
wire, grab it! ;)

Everyone that has worked on a car has done it once. Ratzio's going to go
off on this for sure, but the best high-voltage stunt I ever pulled was
with an electric fence (also ~25,000 volts...) We were drunk one night and
pulled over for a 'rest', and I didn't see the fence running through the
shrubs below me and made my bladder gladder...

Imagine THAT!
