Because as it stands, current law continues favoring policy which results in the steady redistribution of wealth.....except it's mostly an upwards flow.....IOW, it's going straight into the pockets the already wealthy elite controlling class. Hint: the wealthy elite class has lobbies on the dem side as well as the republican. And they are laughing their asses while at the same time slurping away at the feeding trough because they know that as long both political parties continue ignorantly pointing fingers at each other and blaming the opposite party for all the problems then they will be relatively safe and nothing is going to change and besides....the more money a person has the easier it becomes for him to find and exploit spineless bootlickers and cheap prostitutes. Which gets us back to the fundamental issue--Whereas liberals are open to change, conservatives are opposed to it. --
