I am considering a 2006 4Runner with this V8 engine.

Any problems? Gas hog?

Thanks

Vito

It'll qualify for a future cash for guzzlers program on the upside..

We have a 2003 Sequoia with this engine. It has not had any problems in
74,000 miles. We get around 12 ~ 13 MPG around town on short trips and 6 on
the highway with 6 passengers and a boatload of camping gear.

Pardon me, Ray. Did you really mean 6? Do you really think that's
good?

Oops, typo - my "1" key is sticking. That was around 16 MPG on the hwy with
6 passengers aboard, and no, I don't think that is particularly good.
