Well 16 isn't as bad as 6. :) Toyota needs to pick that up. On the
larger vehicles, 20some doesn't seem like a bad target for highway in
a non-hybrid.

I agree. Our Sequoia only has a 4 speed transmission. Later versions of
the first generation Sequoia had 5 speed transmissions, and the current
version has a 6 speed. for 14/19 MPG.
