It would work for my job, for sure. I ought to ditch a couple of these "headaches" and get a smal second car to use for "work". I'd like an Imprezza wagon, but the ones I find in my price range have leaky head gaskets, leaky rear main seals...
From: ron on 8 Aug 2010 22:19 My daughter has a CX-9 that she really likes and I thought it was fine also - Maybe a bit "plusher" and sleeker than my 08 Highlander - I do get somewhat better mileage than she does (mile or so a gallon) I've no reason to change cars but being bored but I've been considering looking at a Venza. My wife's RAV4 (09) is just a big small to me and feels like a harsher ride than the highlander - both are limiteds and have same engines.
From: Mike on 9 Aug 2010 12:32 If safety is one of your concerns, stay away from the small of midget cars. Why subject you family to those cars just to save a relative few dollars a year on fuel? Compare the estimated annual fuel costs among different size vehicles. There are plenty of the much safer mid-size cars, or even full size cars like the Taurus, that cost less the $400 more a year for fuel than a small car. Possibly, but on the CNBC network they were discussing Iran getting four submarines, saying this could push crude north of $200 per barrel if they threaten to block the straights of Hormuz. -- Clive |
