late 1970's to mid 1980's sport cars in the USA were trash.

The workmanship on cars from all those eras was awful.

I recall the days when my dad would buy a car every two years, because after 5
years, living in Canada and with the salt on the roads, the things would fall
apart. And the interior? Nothing compared to cars made today.

Solid as a rock.

thing! That's the one I took my drivers license in!
