I'd google it and read what I read and probably start with cleaning the
MAF sensor, check for vacuum leaks and keep going until I found what
caused the lean condition, maybe replace the EGR pressure difference
sensor? and reprogram the PCM.

If that didn't fix it, I'd google some more and look at some ford
forums to see what others have had to do for repairs.
And put a fram oil filter on it.......

OK, not a bad approach to problem solving. The web site listed pretty
generic information on what could cause a lean condition without really
narrowing down the possibilities, which is what I do when I don't have much
information to go on. In this case, however, I listed clues that could help
you narrow down the possibilities that were listed on that site.
