If it is on the tC and it is within the 36/36 warranty period or you are in good with the local service department, you chances are pretty good. If the car is out of warranty and they turn you down for a goodwill repair, shoot for a 50-50 split. -- Ray O (correct punctuation to reply)

Yeah, it's the tC, 28,875 miles, but they also gave me the 7 year/100,000 mile extended warranty free of charge! (The sales manager was trying to get $1200 for it!!!) Jim's not there any more... :( I don't know who is there now. Gordon's still in parts, but I think the guy who was there (Tom, don't know if you knew him) has gone along a couple years ago, the other guy was pretty fair, but it's been under new ownership for 2 years now... Just have to check and see. I could always take it to the dealer I was working for a couple years ago; I'm sure since I am a former employee they'll keep it to only double normal charges... :p

The tC should still be covered by the original 36/36. -- Ray O (correct punctuation to reply)
