I went to hit the washer button and nothing came out. About 20 minutes
later I stopped at a gas station/convenience store and when I came out
saw water leaking from the wheel well. Must have been trapped snow, I
thought...

Then, when I was filling the car, I noticed it had a blue tint to it.

Guess where the washer bottle is?

I haven't had a chance to look. I'm hoping that with the unusuallyu cold,
well below average temps we've been having, that it pushed the pump out of
the bottle when I hit the button. Either that or the bottle burst.

Now, I have never put anything but antifreeze blue juice in there, so
what's the chances of Toytoa repairing/replacing this thing...

Same brand of blue stuff as always? There have been stretches of cold
weather here when the fluid froze, regardless of the lies on the label about
being good to minus whatever. If there's room in the tank, pour in some
expensive stuff, like Rain-X. Might be enough to thaw the existing fluid,
assuming that's the actual problem.

Did you put the blue stuff in before Obama or after? I bet it's
Bush's fault.

I haven't taken a look to see what the problem is yet. I believe I have to
remove at least one shield to even see the bottle, and as you say, yes, it
has been cold. It was 18 degrees yesterday...

We've just recently had this happen with the Tercel.

One of two things have happened to you:
1) the pump motor has broken, or
2) the hose has popped off the pump.

Pull the fender's plastic splash shield and have a look inside. Turn the
road wheel on that side so the front edge of it is all the way inboard.
This will help with access for removing the splash shield.
