I had a gooseneck mount for a cellphone built in to my Chrysler LHS. I don't know how much they figured the carphone weighed, because this thing could probably hold 50 pounds easily. It was the devil to move! All you would need would be something like this with a flat top, and then buy or make something to bolt to it to hold the laptop in place. Of course, we all know you aren't planning to actually be using the laptop while driving...
