Thanks for your replies! I have had the model of Michelin they sell at Costco on a few different cars and have been very happy with them. I have occasionally strayed away and regretted it each time.

ride was fine - but the avalon was fairly heavy - BUT once in a while on concrete pavement they'd seem noisy maybe where texture was different and seldom more than half a mile and never on asphalt paving |
