Yes.
In this neck of the woods, no manual test means no allowance to use a
manual car, but passing the test allows you to use both manual and
automatic cars.

In Illinois, there is an "Automatic Transmission Only" restriction. Very
rarely used, since 90% of the cars over here are already automatics. I
don't even have it on my license, and I've been driving mostly automatics
for the past 12 years and took my road test on a 1962 Corvair 700 coupe with
Powerglide automatic (I.e. no park, 2 speeds.) and they did not restrict my
license even then.

But most of Illinois Government is a joke anyway.
