A person once they have a belief system established are very hard to change. They will defend it with their lives. Accept things the way they are and go with the flow, let them be, and be true to yourself. You are paddling upstream against the flow of the current, nothing will be accomplished. It's like trying to teach a pig to sing, it's not going to happen and it irritates the pig.

Darwin is dead, but his theory, which has even less evidence to support it now, has been the inspiration for Hitler, Stalan, Marx, Castro, etc. OTOH, the "dead man on a cross" has inspired this once great nation, hospitals, public schools, science, abused women's shelters, homeless shelters, AIDS hospices, ended slavery, gave women equal rights, etc. Judge the tree by its fruit. And Darwin _didn't_ say that weeding out bad genes would strengthen populations; only that breeding good genes would. So if I said the sky is blue, and someone claims I said the sky is purple, then kills someone over it, I'm still not to blame.
