From: Paul on 18 Mar 2007 16:21 Would really welcome some advice as to which (UK) diesel variant to buy. I have a daily commute of around 60 miles, mostly motorway, and initially thought the 2.0 116 BHP model (which is hard to find) would be best for me. Having read the reviews however the 1.4 90 BHP version seems to get rave reviews for its pulling power and fuel economy of over 60 mpg. Can anyone just offer a brief opinion of the comparison or I'd be interested to hear comments about the 1.4 performance on Motorways and overtaking, for example. On the face of it a 1.4 appears a bit small for me but I can be convinced otherwise! All help appreciated. Cheers Paul
