Why do Christians drive Toyotas?
This maybe subjective, but the parking lot of churches seem to be populated by Toyotas other than any other brand. Get the hint? Little mowing machine that doesn't require any particular driving skills, automatic transmission, and voila! There goes the happy sheep! Well, they have their own share of SUVs, but tho... 19 Mar 2010 14:26
VIDEO: The Anti Toyota Prius commercial Ford wished it made
One would suspect that if one had a choice, that most drivers would rather have the "impression that the brakes have failed" then actually having their car get out of control, as has been happing in so many of Toyotas documented cases that have resulted in 54 deaths and numerous injuries thus far. I read the Jour... 16 Mar 2010 12:44
Toyota says no evidence 'runaway' Prius happened
http://www.autonews.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100315/OEM/100319941/1143 Here is the most interesting paragraph: "Toyota said an examination of Sikes' Prius showed that the car was being driven with the brakes lightly and repeatedly applied -- some 250 times over a 30-mile stretch of highway." So now w... 22 Mar 2010 13:09
NHTSA Report from 2008 on Lexus ES350 UA
I have been hard on NHTSA adminstartion ecasue I feel they did not pay enough attention to the Toyota UA complaints. However, I did come across what I think was a very good report on an investigation of UA concerns as they relate to the Lexus ES350. A copy is at http://www.autosafety.org/sites/default/files/nhtsa%2... 17 Mar 2010 23:27
Prius and Murphy's Law
What's so mysterious about runaway or non-responsiveness to controls on the Prius? Electronic engineers have long recognized that whatever can go wrong, will go wrong. For instance, when I start my PC computer, if I move the mouse during an early part of the boot-up sequence, it will mis-write the program and p... 17 Mar 2010 21:15

{BS} Brokaw get it handed to him...
Brokaw sat in for David Gregory today. Nodding in total agreement with Axlerod. Then Rove got the spotlight... MR. BROKAW: Well, he's changed that now because he's delayed his trip to Indonesia, he's putting the pressure on Democratic leaders. If they get a bill and it is a pared down bill, will the Republic... 14 Mar 2010 23:13
Drive Toyota: You too can be a kamikaze!
It's never too late if you die for a cause --or for no cause. Well, the cause could be to "save money," which would be the only rational reason to buy a Toyota, right? Whatever the reason, you too can be kamikaze to smash, say, into an SUV. That seems to be like a "good cause." ;) ---------------------------... 16 Mar 2010 14:01
