'99 Avalon with both the MIL and Trac Off light On
I have a '99 Avalon with both the MIL and Trac Off light on. The MIL came on first with codes P0125 and P1133 pending. After some research I believe this was caused by a bad A/F sensor on B1/S1. I have not replaced the sensor yet. I checked the codes a second time before the Trac Off light ON and the additio... 10 Nov 2008 14:30
Trick Or Treat: Toyota MR2 In Porsche Carrera GT Costume
This Toyota MR2 dressed to look like a Porsche Carrera GT isn't going to trick anybody. It may have Porsche badges glued on, but they're not enough to distract you from the sickening proportions and ridiculous build quality. We haven't seen a supercar kit this bad since the Fierrari Enzo. The Porsche costume is mounted... 9 Oct 2008 10:27

Getting P0441 engine code on 1999 Corolla
My 1999 Corolla with about 40,000 miles on it over the past month has been registering P0441 that represents "EVAP Emission control system purge flow fault." Less than two months ago I had to replace the starter on this car because of solenoid failure and read that EVAP solenoid failures are listed reported as the... 17 Aug 2008 01:52
Some details of the 2AZ-FE engine
Gonna write this stuff down and post it so I don't lose it. Had to wade through a lot of pages to find it. The 5th Generation Camry's 2AZ-FE engine (an advanced powerplant, by the way) is the same engine that was used in the '01 Highlander SUV. 5th Generation Camrys cover Model Years '02 - '06. The cylinder ... 5 Aug 2008 22:30
