Substitute Audi 5000 for whichever Toyota car is claimed to have gone
out of control.
And just like the Audi 5000, if the driver had applied the brake
instead of the throttle the car would have stopped.

That's not to say there isn't a problem with some Toyotas. But I am
saying these drivers did not apply the brake.
See the tests performed in Car&Driver magazine. The brakes can stop a
Camry regardless of how fast it is going (not on ice).
