Toyota has engaged routinely in questionable, evasive and deceptive
legal tactics when sued, frequently claiming it does not have
information it is required to turn over and sometimes even ignoring
court orders to produce key documents, an Associated Press
investigation shows.

It has withheld potentially damaging documents and refused to release
data stored electronically in its vehicles.

For example, in a Colorado product-liability lawsuit filed by a man
whose young daughter was killed in a 4Runner rollover crash, Toyota
withheld documents about internal roof strength tests despite a
federal judge's order that such information be produced, according to
court records. The attorneys for Jon Kurylowicz now say such documents
might have changed the outcome of the case, which ended in a 2005 jury
verdict for Toyota.

So what? The US Government doesn't *have* anyone who can even use that
information. The Airbag information for all the crashes is almost
certainly already in their hands.

I've set my crosspost limit without followup to 2, so you'll just have
to live with it.

And the judge rolled over and allowed it????

Might'a, could'a,should'a.....

I'm not saying that Toyota was correct in what they did, but apparently
they won and they didnt get hammered on contempt of court or other
charges.

When you get your day in court, you better be ready.

You're back with more negative reports. When did they release you from
Rehab? Did you get the treatment you required? I hope you make a speedy
recovery. Everyone has problems but your drug issues maybe behind you now.
Hopefully in the near future you can get a job and finally get the Toyota
you want. Good luck.

Ah so! Japanese still believe business is war and they have a war to
win against us. So little things like kamikazee kars - er - planes -
and court documents matter not a whit!
