There is no newsgroup specific about the TOYOTA (celica) SUPRA.
Are there Supra owners here?

Gert.

This is a good place. We so seldom actually talk about TOYOTAS it will be
a refreshing change.

Here's a hint: Most posters put an {OT} just like that in their political
posts, so if you can set a filter on your newsreader to filter the string
"{OT}" (w/o quotes, of course, or, in my case "{BS}" then a lot of the
noise will disappear. Don't filter out OT because then you'll lose any
posts with the word ToyOTa.

I recently installed a new radiator, but now believe I have a blown head
gasket. This year's project was SUPPOSED to be rebuilding the suspension,
but now the BHG takes precedence... :(

Im afraid my headgasket is damaged too. Several cooling problems last
months. First a leaking pump wich is replaced which is replaced with an use
one an a new gasket.. Then i found out that both electric fans and the
viscocoupling from the big fan where not working. I replaced the temperature
feeler and i had my 2 electric fans back. Then i replaced the visco coupling
from the main fan with a used 1 and my cooling is ok now. But i still lose a
bit water, like 1/2 a liter in 2 weeks. but no drips under the car.

My old coupling is opened and i found out the the viscous fluid was gone. I
am try ing to get this fluid because it seems available by TOYOTA under part
numbers:
08816-03001
08816-06001
08816-10001

The toyota importer in the Netherlands told me its not possible to repair
and only available as 1 part.

Maybe you like this site:
