How much does it usually cost to get this problem fixed from authorized
service centers?

The URL posted showed $2650. That's in the ball park from other
messages in the newgroup (~$2500). That's a good portion of the
residual value of the car. You might want to consider just trading it
in say for a 2007 Camry. But then some of the 07 transmissions skip
gears ;)
