I have a 2000 V6 Camry and have only 54K miles on it. The car is
pretty much driven only on the weekend. My quesiton is the timing
belt. I have not changed it yet. Do i need to go with the miles or
the years with this maintenance. Planning on taking a road trip this
holiday and need some advice
Thanks

The miles are very low, is there an easy way to look at it, if was me,
id drive it as long as those 54k were not by a lead foot.

Yes the car is driven and maintained very well. Regular oil changes,
coolant and transmission has been flushed. Tires rotated etc etc

It says in the Toyota maintenance book replace timing belt 90,000
I would wait---unless you are having symptoms.

The only symptom I ever saw was my dead car in the middle of the road,
I didnt know good oil, coolant, trans and tires affected belt life,
Haaaaahaaa they dont, a lead foot will, if you are worried have
someone look at it to see if its All there in good order. You will be
ok I bet.
