The reality is that there's been a big improvement in rust-resistance in automobiles. Back in the 70s most everywhere you looked there'd be a car with awful rust holes. Nowdays, it's a rare sight and most likely you'd see it on a car built in the 80s. Thanks, Jesus! :-)
