Thanks; not yet... I had accumulated unused sick day $ which paid for
almost half of the car. :-)

I can dream, can't I?

When I was working at Toyota (dealer, that is) Prius=MSRP + $5,000! They
were still behind and people were ordering 4 months or more in advance!

Well, well, well.... ;-P (And remember, they start at $22K, not $40-odd!
The Prius I which retails for $21 is due out this month, but will be sold to
for fleet use, not to individuals, AFAIK. But it lacks cruise, heated side
mirrors, etc. anyway.)

Thanks - and yes, there is plenty of leg room, both front & back. I've
always driven my previous cars with the seat as far back as it'll go, but
have this one 1 - 2 notches up. I'm still discovering/figuring out some of
the little things/do-dads that're on this car. A little bit of a learning
curve is involved, but not a huge one. Besides its positive attributes,
difficult to be bored with a Prius, which works for me. ;-) I've yet to
meet anyone who's bought a Prius (since '04) who's been disappointed -
they've all loved them.
