I suspect that professor at the Sloan School of Managment know more
about international taxation than you or I do.

Mike, you made a claim that the a IRS website doesn't list Toyota or
subsidies as corporations paying US corporate income taxes.

Just tell us what the sites are. Come on, act like a fellow human being,
and share with us the information you found.

I do that often.

You don't have to act like a spoiled brat (ok spoiled brat is the nicest
thing I could think of to describe what you are behaving as - the other
ones all involve language that is inappropriate for this forum).

How about a URL for the IRS site that lists corporate tax returns, or
wherever you are getting this information. Hopefully this is not a phantom
web site.

Toyota's US subsidiaries are not "companies" in the sense that you are
suggesting. They are corporations that are incorporated in the US. As such
they must file US Federal Tax returns. Some of the subsidiaries are not 100%
owned directly by Toyota Motor Corporation (see my previous post). For
example Toyota Motor Manufacturing Texas, Inc. (a US Corporation) is owned
by Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing North America, Inc. (a US
Corporation) which is in turned owned by Toyota Motor Corporation (a
Japanese Corporation).

And as expected you did not provide a URL for the IRS web site that shows
corporations that pay US federal corporate income taxes? Why not just
provide this information. My guess is that you are just making it up, but it
would be a welcome change if you actually had some verifiable proof.

I searched it extensively and did not find it. Why not just cut and paste a
URL.

Here is one:
<http://www.boston.com/business/globe/articles/2004/04/11/most_us_firms_paid_no_income_taxes_in_90s/>

It is from the Boston Globe. Now, if the tax returns for foreign-owned
corporations were publically available on a web site, that the Boston
Globe would have listed a few selected foreign-owned corporations that
did not pay US corporate income taxes? (Note: They did have the internet
way back in 2004.)

The onis, Mike, is on you to back your claim about the IRS website.
